not operate correctly if there is any

pin left open.

Ground

Ground pins. All the Vss pins must

be connected to the system power

supply (0 V). This LSI does not

operate correctly if there is any pin

left open.

PLLVcc

Power supply for

PLL

Power supply for the on-chip PLL

oscillator.

Ground for PLL

Ground pin for the on-chip PLL

oscillator.

EXTAL

External clock

Connected to a crystal resonator. An

external clock signal may also be

input to the EXTAL pin.

Connected to a crystal resonator.

System clock I/O Inputs an external clock or supplies

the system clock to external devices.

Mode set

Sets the operating mode. Do not

change the signal level on this pin

during operation.
