For best accuracy, the ADC can be optionally calibrated.

If GPIO2 or GPIO3 is used as ADC input, there is no anti-aliasing filter in front of the ADC (needs to

be added externally).

ADC Threshold

At the output of the ADC converter a digital threshold can be enabled. If the output of the ADC

exceeds the threshold adc_threshold, it triggers an interrupt. This mechanism can be used to identify if

an object is in proximity of the sensor and then to interrupt the host. In cases where no object is

detected, the host can be sleeping therefore reducing power consumption of the system.
