18 / 48 page  18 µPD75402A(A) 5.5 SERIAL INTERFACE The serial interface has the following modes: • Three-wire serial I/O mode (MSB is transferred first.) • SBI mode (MSB is transferred first.) The three-wire serial I/O mode enables connections to be made with the 75X series, 78K series, and many other types of peripheral I/O devices. The SBI mode enables communication with two or more devices. |
