Microcontroller I2C establishes the communication: START condition 2. Microcontroller I2C sends slave address on the I2C bus to check if the slave is online (1st frame) 3. After the address is matched, the L6360 sends its status register (2nd frame) 4. The L6360 sends its parity register (3rd frame) 5. Microcontroller I2C finishes the communication: STOP condition. The I2C frame (configuration, control, diagnostic phases) must provide: ● Slave address (7 bits) ● Transmission direction (read/write) ● Data (8-bit data registers): status and parity registers. |
