Wideband Differential to Single-Ended Converter
The combination of high slew rate and bandwidth enables
the LTC6228 to be used as a translator for large signals
at high frequencies.
Figure 10 shows the implementation of a wide band, dif-
ferential to single-ended converter with a gain of –6dB
using just one LTC6228. Figure 11 shows the frequency
response of the circuit for a differential input of 2VP-P. The
bandwidth obtained was 50MHz. The common mode gain
of the driver is shown in Figure 12, and is limited by the
matching between the resistors in the circuit. Figure 13
shows the response of the driver to a 1VP-P differential
square wave signal.
