36 / 54 page  Logic BIST L9301 36/54 DS11400 Rev 9 10 Logic BIST After VDD power-on with RES = High and SCK = Low, a digital logic built-in self-test (BIST) starts and takes a maximum of 12 ms to complete. If RES = High and SCK = High, the BIST is not executed. The BIST status register (0x1E) contains three bits that reflect the status of the BIST. The purpose of logic BIST is to test the control and diagnosis logic. If the BIST ends with an error, the device is no longer reliable. While the BIST is running, the device is not operative. The oscillator FLL (Spread Spectrum) is enabled after BIST run (clkch_en bit). |
