Wired Shunt Interface Using Two Current-Sense Pairs and Two NTC/GND Pairs Current-Sense Channel Depopulation The three-channel concept ensures two-channel redundancy for safe overcurrent signaling and pyrofuse ignition, and two- channel redundancy to avoid unintended overcurrent signaling and pyrofuse ignition. Where only one of those two safety functions is required, the third overcurrent channel can be disabled by its threshold value. While the OC3TH register is set to 0x00, the OC3 channel permanently signals an alarm. As soon as any of OC1 or OC2 report an overcurrent event, the majority voters trigger the ignition. While the OC3TH register is set to a maximal value of 0x7F, the OC3 channel never signals an alarm. Then, majority voters do |
