19 / 69 page  Functional description STV0974 19/61 The Huffman table used are described in ISO DIS 10918-1 Annex A - Section K.3. In the above example, the first AC coefficient of Block Y1 is 0, as good as the second one. The zeros are not Huffman encoded, but the runlength counts them. When the first non-zero value is reached (Coefficient 4 with value 77), the Huffman code for the pair (number of preceding zeros, value) = (2,77) if Huffman encoded. The code that is generated is Code = Huffman (2,77).
