2.5.10 Diagnostics Menu

This menu is used to offer the technician a method of testing the unit’s functionality. It also provides

useful information for troubleshooting purposes.

Follow this step-by-step procedure to use this menu. It is assumed that you are starting from the

RUN mode.

display reads Diagnostics.

This menu allows you to energize/de-energize

each output individually.

Enter Password

Accept the data entered

Enter a number between 1 and 4. Use the arrow

keys to toggle between Energize and De-energize.

Set the relay to test

Set the display variable for the RUN mode.

Test 4–20 mA Loop

Test the 4–20 mA output

Press ENT twice. Enter the value of the desired

output current. Press ENT. The 4–20 mA output

is now at the desired loop current. Press ENT

when finished.

electronics, probe, and preamplifier.
