Description

The resistor programmable continuous audio

active filter IC Is a CMOS chip that can be

configured for either a lowpass, bandpass,

highpass, allpass or notch filter. B u t t e r -

worth, Be ssel , ellip ti c an d Chebyshev fil -

ters can be implem ented. The frequ ency

ra n g e co ve r s the audio spec trum to 80 kHz.

The low power m ode has a frequ ency range

to 10 kHz. A po wer down pin red u ces c u r-

rent c o nsumption when th e filte r is not in

use. The 8 pin p a rt is a single filter stage,

the 16 pin part o f fers a dual fi lte r stage.

Betwe en 2 a n d 5 e x ternal re si stors set the

fil t er chara c teristics depe nding on th e de -

si red respon se . Q c a n b e set from between

0. 25 and 50 . No clo c k signal is requ ired.
