Motorola, Inc. était une société américaine de télécommunications multinationales fondée en 1928. Elle était basée à Schaumburg, Illinois et était l'un des plus grands fournisseurs de téléphones portables, d'équipement de télécommunication et de semi-conducteurs. En 2011, Motorola s'est divisée en deux sociétés distinctes: Motorola Mobility et Motorola Solutions. Motorola Mobility a ensuite été acquise par Google en 2012 et est maintenant une filiale de Lenovo. Motorola Solutions se concentre sur les solutions de sécurité publique et de communication commerciale et industrielle. La société propose une large gamme de produits, notamment des radios bidirectionnelles, des appareils informatiques mobiles et des équipements d'infrastructure réseau.

Motorola était l'un des pionniers de l'industrie du téléphone portable et a une riche histoire d'innovation et de progrès technologiques. L'héritage de l'entreprise se poursuit par le biais de ses filiales et sa technologie et ses produits continuent d'être utilisés dans le monde.
