410 / 508 page  Section 14 Power Supply Circuit Rev. 1.00 May 30, 2008 Page 390 of 484 REJ09B0436-0100 14.3 When Not Using Internal Power Supply Step-Down Circuit When the internal power supply step-down circuit is not used, connect the external power supply to the CV CC pin and VCC pin, as shown in figure 14.2. The external power supply is then input directly to the internal power supply. The permissible range for the power supply voltage is 2.7 V to 3.6 V. Normally, however, the internal power supply step-down circuit should be used. Operation cannot be guaranteed if a voltage outside this range is input.
